Hello, I've been lost for a long time or so I feel... (although I've always had a somewhat altered perception of reality), it's been three months since the last time I wrote to you... Right now I'm in the house of my parents... I came to visit them and I've been going through some somewhat uncomfortable emotional states...
The first thing I must say is that I went back to taking the pill for depression... because I had been in a depression for three months... and I had to ask for help (something I learned to do in these years of therapy).. And my mother , she doesn't understand why I started taking medication again... according to her, I didn't need it... (sometimes we can't be so honest with those around us so as not to hurt or worry them). The truth is that this time it's taken me a little longer to regulate, I have already been feeling the advantages of taking my pills. For those who read the blog and do not have to consume these types of pills, I tell you that in my case, it's been something very positive, it's really helped me and makes me manage my days better, I was lucky not to have to go through many medications to find the ones that worked for me.
WHERE DO WE START????
Well... taking into account the order of events... this year I went to Medellín (Colombian city, highly recognized by the inhabitants of other countries, for which the famous so-called "Gentrification" is already happening). I went to Freedom, I went with a friend (who traveled from the city that I consider my second home) and my tech friend (who traveled from Gotham, he arrived first). I was with my parents (visiting them), I arrived in Gotham on a Tuesday night and that same Thursday I left for Medellín.
Arriving in Medellín, I had to wait for my friend for about half an hour... because I don't know why... the airport is in a municipality near the city (not in the same city), we got on a bus, we got off in a main road and there we paid a taxi to the Airbnb. We arrived super late...
That same night we went out (but don't get excited, I'm the oldest of them, but they have the spirit of 80-year-olds, so we only went out to eat, believe me, I insisted on them going out that night and experiencing the nightlife a little bit (I had been in Medellín but I had been with Voldemort, and IT WAS NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE neither for him nor for me, I was very insecure and the women are very pretty, so I lived thinking that he spent his time looking at old women, we had an argument about that and for other things (everything was wrong that time), but I couldn't convince them, plus we were also thinking about saving energy because the event lasted three days.
I'll be very honest about the event, I don't know if I'm already very used to the Bogotá Techno scene, but I wasn't impressed by Freedom (I'm not talking musically, because in fact my intention was to listen to other styles and genres of Techno, so for that side all good), the stages seemed very "normal" to me, in fact they seemed very small to me, for what the event is supposed to represent in the country's scene. We went for two days, they cheated with sweets on those two days, but on the third day we couldn't resist, the physical fatigue was already impressive so we decided to order food and stay at home.
On the second day we brought out our tourist side and went to see commune 13, which is one of the tourist attractions par excellence in Medellín, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE, too many people, too many businesses, too many colors, we had a polita (beer), a couple of photos and to go back to the house because that day it was going out. We also went to a mall near the house, ate (not typical) and talked for a while about life, the place where we met, etc. etc. I had forgotten to mention that there were 4 of us scheduled on this trip, one of them didn't go because he wasn't having a good time financially (he's the friend we always go out with to events in Gotham).
With my friend we went out to have breakfast at a place diagonal to the place where we were staying, which was in fact a very commercial place, there we did order typical food, what a good breakfast! In the afternoon we went to a restaurant near the house as well, a good lunch... a bean and a chicharrón, 10/10. One afternoon the three of us went to a hamburger business that my friend said was well-known, a deli too. Of course, we got on the subway and wandered around the city.
I'm very surprised by the situation in Medellín, it's full of foreigners and things have become more and more expensive because the prices of things are set taking into account the people who pay in euros and dollars, which doubles and triples our currency , then local people must have two or three jobs to be able to lead a more or less quiet life. My unpopular opinion is that Latin American countries should also be demanding when it comes to allowing entry to people from other places and I say this specifically because of the latest events that have happened, unfortunately the majority of foreigners (I'm not saying all), They believe they can do whatever they want in our countries.
Well, I digressed from the topic... those days in Medallo were good,,, then what happened not so much...
A kiss from a distance, a huge hug.
